These Conditions ('Conditions') govern your use of PC Disposals Pty Ltd, and any linked pages ('PC Disposals Pty Ltd web site'). Your use of this web site/ buyonline section or fill out the contact us for authorization of disposal will mean you accept these Conditions. PC Disposals Conditions are not able to be Copied, Negotiated or Changed in any way, form or shape. You must agree to our conditions before you can submit your products for disposal. You may complete the buy online section in the prescribed manner or by phoning us with all of the information required for the disposal of products, Once the products have been collected for disposal, will become the property of PC Disposals and will be disassembled and recycled responsibly or reused. You say that the items for disposal are not stolen, misappropriated, on loan, borrowed, currently on lease, have moneys owing or breach Australian copyright laws. We do not accept any copied software or copied paperbacks. Re: Copyright laws. We pick up are between 9-5 Monday to Friday unless your pick up is urgent, then you will need to contact us by phone to arrange the pick up time and place.

Please Note: We do not send any computing to landfill sites, export or sell any whole computing outside of Australia. All computing which has passed its life, that has no further use or value will be disassembled and recycled.

- We have a guaranteed secure data destruction and secure facilities

- We are ethical  - no shredding of disks/dumping or landfill/we do not endorse child slave labour/ information on harddrives is destroyed by a 3 pass wipe or if the harddrive is of low gb size or unusable ( ie dead ) the harddrive is destroyed.

- We have a detailed reporting of assets

Harddrives

We do not accept responsibility for information which is saved to the harddrive and found to be left behind once the computer becomes our property but we will do everything in our power to make sure the data is destroyed or the harddrives are destroyed so that they are un-usable. If you feel that information is sensitive on the harddrive you need to notify us so that we can take the necessary action to erase or destroy the harddrive.

We do reuse a percentage of harddrives if they are of reasonable ( Gb ) size , once the harddrive becomes our property we erase the data contained on the harddrive with a 3 pass wipe before it is passed on to its new owner. If you require proof of erasure or destruction we need to be contacted by email in writing.
