April 2010: Ewaste News: Pick-ups have re-commenced for unwanted computer equipment

Due to the large amount of complaints regarding our pick-up charges. As from April 1st we now have reverted back to our free pick ups for unwanted computer equipment, we will also accept non working unwanted computing ie lcd's/pc's/laptops/server equipment and computer parts when we pick up the working core products.

I know it's depressing but to give you some idea, since 2004 we have collected and recycled in round figures approximately 77,000 complete computer towers and workstation computer boxes, 11,000 rack mount and free standing servers, 12,250 P2, P3, P4, centrino and pentium M laptops, 27,500 15", 17", 19" and 21" CRT monitors, 36,000 desktop and floor standing printers, 8,000 15", 17" 19", 20", 22" and 24" LCD Screens ( 60% not working ) , tube tv's, plasma and large size home flat screens, dvd players, satellite boxes, set top boxes, scanners, along with the mountains of cabling, modems, switches, routers, hubs, peripherals, Desks, chairs, racks, commercial cooking equipment, commercial fridges and the thousands and thousands of IDE, SATA and SCSI harddrives that have been wiped or destroyed by us.

We do not recieve any help or funding from the labour Government, Federal, State or on a Local level.

Latest Company News - September 2010

August has been a busy month with 48 ewaste pick ups and many drop offs from the general public. We have attended meetings of two multinational companies in Brisbane discussing the future needs of ewaste disposal and its a good outcome when companies and businesses are finally realizing that recycling and proper ewaste disposal is a major part of the solution to our growing ewaste problem. Regardless of whether the Australian government puts into place positive actions to implement recycling of ewaste and recycling of other products, progress occurs when individuals and businesses change there way of thinking.
